I had a great time staying here for 2 nights, the rooms were fantastic and beautifully furnished with a great view of the river, not to mention being close to Chevrerie des Gallands.

Possibly the best and wonderful stay for one night. Reasonably spacious and absolutely fantastic units with character. Central heating and a study table were convenient. Location short walk to Sancerre and adjoining wine towns as well as the vineyards of Sancerre and Pouilly😀

The Chateau De Beaujeu is a real gem with authentic charm. the furniture is original, giving you a glimpse into life 100 years ago. the property, although in need of renovation, has a huge territory where farmers can be seen tending to cows. the owner, Monique, is a friendly and welcoming lady. If you're someone who enjoys karaoke and casinos, there are facilities and activities available for you to indulge in.

A great place to get a castle experience and a fantastic starting point for many bike rides in the Sancerre wine region. Lovely setting with pastures and good roads for walking. The room was magical, with a nice bathtub and view of the clouds and sky. The host was welcoming and friendly. The scenery was pastoral perfection and everything was perfectly clean. The breakfast was decadent, taken on a table set in the original decor.
